Forty-Sixth Spool of Thread - [Accidental Voice/Video]

[The start of the feed is rather abrupt as the journal hits the floor of a familiar clothing shop, and at first the voices are muffled until the journal gets settled.

For anyone who happens to be looking at the moment, they might see a pink-haired girl bruising the pride of one certain new feather. For you see, Shiki is currently using her plush cat, Mr. Mew, as a weapon of mass destruction as she holds the cat by the arm and continues smacking Neku with it.]

--any idea how freaked out I was that you just disappeared like that?! Come on, Neku! You have to quit doing this to me!

W-what the hell?! Shiki! I don't even know what you're talking about!

...wait...what? [And it's just as abrupt that she stops hitting him. That would have been good to know.] ...you've gotta be kidding me! [And then suddenly the camera blacks out as the belly of Mr. Mew lands right on top of Shiki's journal.]

I can't believe...those jerks!

[It isn't until she picks Mr. Mew up (which is pretty soon after she throws him, not gonna lie) that she sees Ginia's response....it was pretty bad, wasn't it?]

Mr. Mew's fine, see? [She holds him up to show the younger girl.] He's pretty tough.

[It's a very quick aside, a note that she will be contacting Minato later to discuss all the things and by later I mean in another comment or so.]

[Ugh. You.] Sounds like it's a little late for that, isn't it? [By this point, Joshua has turned up and he and Neku are discussing things Shiki has no idea about.]

--! Oh, hey! [Great, yeah, that's just the kind of reputation she wanted for new feathers.] This...really isn't what it looks like, I promise.

You show him, Shiki! [ Your own personal cheerleader has come to cheer you on. Cordelia's confused - when is she never? - but, hey, a girl has her reasons for hitting a guy with a plushie. ]

[Whoops. She looks down into the journal and gives the other girl a sheepish grin.] I think he's learned his lesson...or I learned mine, one of the two.

We're at the shop. Are you closer to here or the house?

Tell him I say hi, Shiki. Even if he doesn't remember me. [ it isn't as though they talked much -- still, she wants to throw in her solidarity. ]

I will...when he gets settled in, I think I'll bring him by for some of that cider of yours. [Of course, who knows how long that'll be? Still, it's something to look forward to.] Maybe seeing some familiar faces will jog his memory a bit.

[ Well that's some recording. Every. Single. Time. It's painful enough to have it play out personally, but this is her best friend dealing with what is now a revolving door of some boy she loves. Haruhi doesn't reply to the vocal part, instead she'll just leave her HQ, make her way to All Passions. And then seat on the bench outside of it, waiting for them to come out. She's sure some other people will go to intercept or something, so. ]

[Oh Haruhi. You are perhaps the best friend ever in the history of ever. After Joshua leaves, Shiki's decided it's best to get Neku out of the shop and head toward house 10. However, when she steps out of the shop with Neku behind her, she blinks in surprise upon spotting the brunette sitting there.]

Hey...we were just heading to the house to see if you were there. [The look on her face says she's conflicted about the whole situation, but she knows better than to make a big deal about it right now.] Neku? Do you remember Haruhi?

later that night

[It's some time later that evening when Neku makes his way down the stairs to the kitchen. He's after some ice to put on his face since it's still pretty sore from getting decked earlier. Thanks, Beat. :(

Maybe he deserved it though. Sigh. Whatever. Into the kitchen we go...]
