[Thanks to the powercap being off last week, Shiki and Mr. Mew finished building the wrap-around porch around All Passions so today Mr. Mew is sitting in Shiki's place on the new porch swing. The girl herself is carting racks of summer clothing out onto the side-decks and setting up an open space at the front for a few mannequins. If she hasn't seen you since the event ended, please bother her to make sure you're okay because right now she's pretty focused on what she's doing instead. Or even if you just see something you might like to try on, feel free to bother.]

[Buffy smiles--she hadn't seen the other girl since she had first arrived, but she remembered her name. She waves, stepping up onto the deck.]

Hi, again.

[Shiki stops tugging on the clothes rack and looks over her shoulder, grinning when she sees Buffy there] Hey Buffy. How're you holding up?

Oh, you know. I'm...holdy. Much with the holding up. How are you?

[She approaches, browsing casually through the rack.]

Hey, these are pretty diggable.

You weren't affected last week were you? And I'm decent...about as good as we can be while doing damage control you know? [heads over to where Buffy's looking and grins]

[she was just in the middle of hanging a potted plant when she hears Minato behind her]

[She pulls a top off the rack.] Ooh, this is very cute.

[Buffy holds it up against herself, smiling.]

[She talks distractedly, flicking gently through the hanging clothes. Window shopping was like a registered therapeutic service, for Buffy.]

Oh? What kind of powers?

[aw well Shiki doesn't mind, she just likes people looking at her designs]

In my world, there are some of us who were able to use psychs...mine's a form of telekinesis.

[Buffy looks up from another few tops, blinking widely at Shiki.]

Telekinesis is magic, right?

I guess you could look at it that way. Psychic abilities, magic, it's all the same really. But now that the powercap's back on, I can't use it anymore.

[Idly, she drapes one item of clothing over the top of the rack and turns fully to face Shiki. One hand perches on her hip--not in a stern way, but one that is entirely invested and interested in the conversation.]

Are you a witch?--If you are, don't worry. That's okay. My best friend's a pretty powerful wicca herself. Telekinesis, transportation, charms.

What? No way, that's not it! It's just a really confusing complicated story.

...but you sound like you're used to strange things.

Indeedy, I am. Uncomfortably so. Strange is sort of the field I deal in. Hence my love for cute but mobile outfits. You know, it's hard to outrun a baddie in any old pair of heels.

What do you do anyway, some kind of hunter?
