Um...guys? Just a heads-up that All Passions will be temporarily closed for a little while. I'll still take orders and make things, but I won't physically be at the shop for a long time, not until I can be mobile again anyway. Sorry for that.

Buffy, looks like we're going to have to postpone the lake-date for a while, but how about you drop by House #10 for dinner sometime this week to make up for it?

...actually I think it might be okay if anybody who needed something made or just wanted to talk to me can drop by House #10 during the day, so there's that too. Such an inconvenience, sorry again.

[GRUNT. He's flipping the pancakes now, with some class. Namely, by flapping it with the whole pan. It's really badass and such. No, I do not need help...]

That's a little depressing to think about. But at least that gives you more time to meet people around here, so it's sort of a good and bad thing? Who knows.

And...I doubt it. I don't really know what we could do to help.

Well, getting around to meet people hasn't been too tough. Considering Angel's particular distaste for sunlight, I get to be Miss Social Butterfly during the day.

And...if you say so? I'd just hate to be the lump-on-a-log guest, doing nothing to help.

[she'll snort a bit and roll her eyes] Half the time he won't let me help, and I live here. I usually just have to start doing stuff myself.

Yeah, I try not to talk about the really nice sunny days when around him. But the shooting stars, before the big alien thing? That was nice. There was a definite moment had.

[Grunt, and then he shrugs there. He had to call that over. Okay, one pancake down...]

Definitely. Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll happen again or something. Maybe.

Anyway...probably. But that's only for a few more weeks anyway.

It was a pretty impressive light show! [She calls back to Haruki, before grinning at Shiki and dropping to a whisper:]

Soak it up while you can, before the initial warm fuzzies of moving in wears off and he's nagging you to do the dishes.

[And then there's a grunt there, and he smirks there. Good stuff... the stars were a good call, and he's got a few more pancakes. Now he needs to figure out the the ham timing there while the eggs. One of them is okay, but that's for him so:]

How do you guys like your eggs?!

I'll just take one scrambled egg!

[lowers her voice so only Buffy can hear her] Tell me about it. But it'd make me feel better to do something at least.

I'm good with scrambled, too!

[And then, more quietly in reply to Shiki:] Oh, you'll be back on your feet and crutchless in no time. Then you can give him a taste of his own medicine and not let him do anything for a week.

[And now that this is in order he gets to work on their eggs too. Hmmmm]

[continues talking so only Buffy can hear] I'm not sure that would help though, that'd be domesticating myself more than I should, maybe?

[Still quietly:] Oh, good point. Well, I guess you're left with the help-out-just-enough-to-not-be-bored route.

[Okay the ham's done and there's some more pancakes done... and them hm, here we go. There's the eggs left to make. Oh and put some salt on his eggs. Ho-hum]

We'll see. Maybe we should head to the kitchen, sounds like he's almost done.

[She pops up to her feet and offers a hand to Shiki, just in case?]

[Okay! Ham done, eggs more or less done, pancakes made... got them all on plates, still have his eerie gloves on. Set them up on the counter there, put some plates out... We're good!]

[grabs onto Buffy's hand and stands up, grabbing her crutches from the side of the couch and starting to head for the kitchen] Smells good at least.

Damn straight. If you're good then you're good and you need to acknowledge being good. To do otherwise would be to basically pretend to be a super hero and that would be arrogant!

[...Flawless logic, once more. Still, the foods there, there's plates to take it from, and now he takes a seat opposite them and promptly takes his pancakes and such. Still, like a proper Jap (for once) he does do a brief thank you for the food before, well, having it]
