[assuming that Rosalie has told Shiki about the POV gun and that she still has it, Shiki's inside house 10 waiting for Rosalie to show up with any of the victims she had shot. The two girls, well, more like Rosalie herself, decided that the people of Luceti needed a makeover and so here Shiki was, trying to figure out why exactly she agreed to actual makeovers at a time like this. While she waits though, she'll be sitting on the couch and staring at the open front door, watching for anybody to come in while working on the beginnings of Tifa's blouses she promised to make]

[ooc: if you would like to pretend that Rosalie shot your character with the POV gun and they were persuaded into doing a makeover, just have them wander on in and Shiki and Rosalie will threadjack from each other and such. If you're just a friend of Shiki's who happens to wander by (this includes housemates), that's cool too.]

[...And now there's naked submerged Shiki in front of them. He looks off to the side before opening his eyes then turns so that his back is to the tub when he takes a seat. ...And then after pause takes his own shirt off too. It's a mess anyway]

This house, town. Sometimes doing things for the Brigade, sometimes just... wandering, I guess.

[...A light pause. A heavy pause and then...]

...Rena's sick.

What...how? [there's some sloshing of water as Shiki moves so her chest is pressed against the side of the tub and her head is next to Haruki's to look at him] Is she going to be okay?

[DECIDEDLY facing away from the tub and therefore her...] ...There's an illness that runs in her entire town; Rika's been telling me about it. Best I can figure it out it's a neurological disorder. You must have noticed sometimes Rena gets a little weird, right? Well it's because of that. Apparently what it does is it makes people all paranoid and edgey and stuff. It's the same reason Rena sometimes carries about that machette thing.

It means that Rika thinks she might kill people if someone sets her off bad enough.

Well, you probably noticed one of her triggers, right? Rena's protective of her friends like any other person, y'know? She also doesn't like liars.

[...Pause and now it's time for a bigger bombshell] Well that and the god of their town, Oyashiro-sama.

...yeah. Yeah, I noticed.

Well you know how most smaller town or parts of bigger towns have their own gods and stuff, right? Oyashiro-sama's Hinamizawa's god. Rika's the shrine priestess of the town.

A lot of the villagers, including Rena apparently, believe this illness is a curse from their god and one of the things they get cursed for is for leaving Hinamizawa or something like that.

[...A pause. There's one more bombshell he needs to drop...]
