I upset Neku, again, because I'm apparently too indecisive and can't realize that the world doesn't think the same way I do, and I don't know what to say to make him feel better about me still liking him. Haruki punched Minato in the face because he got annoyed Minato was asking too many questions probably and he's suddenly being as affectionate as a Suzumiya can get. And now Minamimoto attacked Minato? What the hell do I have to do to fix everything!? I just want everything to go back to normal...well and maybe Minamimoto eliminated, but we'll take care of that.

What does he want anyway? He shot Minato and broke his arm. He's got a bigger plan, but what is it?

I know it's been about a week and some of you have already talked to me about this, but um, if you were shot with that gun Rosalie had and we did something you didn't like, feel free to come back to the shop and we'll fix it but you know, I never make people look ugly so...

Tifa, I did finish your blouses whenever you're ready. They're at the shop right now. Speaking of the shop, Kanji, MJ, Rosalie? We should figure out some kind of work schedule you know? I'll be around full-time again in about two weeks but it'd help to have a schedule anyway.

I've figured out...the weather's pretty bipolar here or something.

Oh and um...anybody wondering, I should probably mention that Minato's going to be a little...off for a while.

[Shiki is actually currently sitting in the clinic in Minato's room to make sure he doesn't leave again before he's supposed to like he did last time. Housemates feel free to assume she didn't come home last night. Also, she's assuming that Mitsuru told Aegis/Fina/whoever about Minato's condition so she's not going to bother saying it, if anything so unnecessary people like Minamimoto don't show up or something. Who knows where her brain goes.]

[all right that's a little strange but..] What makes you say that?

"For now, I can't really speak."

[shaking her head]

"No. I was kidnapped and recently returned."

There have been way too many kidnappings lately. Are you all right otherwise?

[slides off her coat to show the sling holding her left arm]

"It wasn't broken, only strained. This is temporary." [a quick smile] "Otherwise I'm fine."

That's good at least, that it's not broken. That'd really put a damper in everything.

[nods in agreement]

"Can you...tell me why someone would want to attack him?"

Because Minamimoto loves terrorizing people.

"Did Minato do something to him?"

Nothing that I know of.

[just looking at him now with real concern. All the injuries Shiki talked about are serious]

...he'll be all right. Minato's a tough guy.

"It just seems pointless to cause more suffering here in this village when everyone's already at the 'mercy' of someone else."

Minamimoto wouldn't see it that way. Ever.

"Just who is he?"

He's from my world, I guess you could say. He's a creep who just...hates everuything.

"I see. ...Your world must be dangerous."

[looking back at Minato. She thinks he must have had no way to defend himself]

[Shiki knows better than to say that Minato tried defending himself with the Persona, so she just nods in agreement] Yeah, I guess you can say that. It's got its ups and downs like everywhere else.

"Even the worst of the people in my world...don't often seek out the defenseless."

Minamimoto's not like most of the worst people though. He's a whole other kind of worst.

"Can you explain what you mean?"
