Y-yeah. Considering during the whole week of Angelus? That vampire ex-boyfriend sorta-maybe broke Jim's hand. Of course, Angel was evil at the time.

My fault, really. I took him Angelus-hunting with me. In retrospect? Not the safest way to impress a boy.

No, but it's a good way to make sure he'll stick around no matter what.

I think that sorta borders on being a protection racket, but if it works? Why complain!

Now, if this place had more date-worthy spots? That'd be nice. I'm sure everything would be oodles more easy if you could just breeze in and say hey, Neku, let's go chill at the local club. Instead there's--you know--just a library or maybe a lake. Pretty, but ultimately boring when on repeat.

You'd think so, but Neku's bad at being social. But even just a decent café would be good enough. Maybe we can find somebody to build and run some new places around here. With all of the New Feathers around and the ones that will continue coming in? We need expansion.

Oh, a little coffee shop would be loved. Loved and adored and patronized with much more love and adoration. The pre-existing spots are great, but there's a certain charm in a little coffee place with some acoustic guitar crooner in the corner.

I know MJ would probably die to have a coffee shop here too. But who knows how to make really good coffee around here?

The only way I know how to make coffee is to lay a buck twenty on a counter and have a perky, smiling barista do it for me. But I'm sure someone knows.

I can't even think who to start asking. Maybe the guys at the bar or Tifa would know.

Tifa's got all sorts of knowledge of the delicious. Probably the right tree to bark up.

I'll have to see what I can do.

Oh. And doughnuts. A coffee shop needs doughnuts. The powerdery kind with jam in them. Lots of it.

I bet somebody at the bakery could supply the doughnuts. This is turning out to be a whole new project.

Projects are a thing of major goodness. While things get busy around here, they tend to only do that all at once and now and then. The everyday days need some filling up, too.

Tell me about it. I miss curling irons and televisions and microwaves.

I actually miss my phone the most. I mean I have it with me, but there's obviously lack of service here. Totally sucks.

I was a little late on the phone-train, to be honest. Never really had the time to get attached.
