[Rare as it may be, today for once Shiki's not at All Passions, the store's actually locked up tight for now. Instead she's derping around in the front yard of House Ten making snowmen.

...very...fashionable snowmen, as a matter of fact. Thanks to her free time, she's created a lot of winter clothes and now she's putting them on the snowmen to make House Ten look a little more open.

She's moving sort of slow though since she's got Mr. Mew in one arm and can only roll the snowballs with one hand. Come say hi, she'll welcome the chance to be social.]

[Probably a while...actually it's a good couple of minutes that she's rolling this snowball around before she turns to move it to another track of snow. It's about then she realizes there's somebody following her and she jumps in surprise, tripping over the snowball and falling behind it]

[That was actually kind of adorable, Shiki, though he didn't mean to startle her that badly. He walks over and offers one gloved hand to pull her back to her feet.]

[She's pretty ready to just start yelling at whoever startled her, but oh hey older-brother-tan. She grins at him instead and takes his hand, bouncing back up onto her feet.]

It's okay, it's just a little snow. [busy brushing herself and Mr. Mew off now] How long were you following me?

[his hands go back in his pockets now that the damsel is no longer in distress.]

Oh, sorry. I was kind of just...yeah. Hi.

[and he's surveying the snowmen more closely now.]

You think? I'm using them for tests.

So far, yeah. I'm checking to see how they hold up in the snow.

They'll get pretty damp...

I'm hoping not too damp. It's a new kind of fabric I found while looking around in the shops.

You think it's waterproof?

We're going to find out. I'm not sure about water-waterproof, but at least better than some materials. That's why I'm using snowmen. [Yes, Minato, this logic totally does make sense.]

Sure, as long as you don't mind that Sekai's probably roaming around. [She just turns to walk back toward the house, motioning for Minato to follow]

[His answer is to just follow her inside now. Birds wandering around indoors don't bother him.]

[For once, house ten's actually pretty clean right now, so Shiki's going to lead him through to the kitchen, still carrying Mr. Mew around while she starts to dig through the cabinets] How have you been anyway?

Mm. [avoiding the prodding looking around for a place to sit] The holidays went well.
