[Considering that the weather's fairly decent today, Shiki's decided today is a good day to spend outside. For anybody who's known her long enough, they might recognize the crate that she's sitting on as the one she used to use before the porch around the shop was built. Today, she's facing the shop and just looking it over, sketching out some things on a piece of paper. Soon enough though, she starts writing a message to the community]

I think I know the obvious answer, but where would be the best place to get fresh flowers when I'm ready for them? And, you know, planters and dirt and stuff.

Also, the spring line's just about finished if anybody needs something for the new season.

The mess i told you about and more, really. Adding our home to it makes things infinitely more complicated.

What exactly about home is complicated in parallel to here?

This guy is on the other side. He's with my enemies. I know that he isn't an enemy of mine, but there's no real way to get him out of that situation immediately if we go back. I think I'm close to sorting it all out, but he's got a long time to wait back home.

How long is a long time? And what do you mean there's no way to get him out of...whatever.

Almost a year, so far. My main enemy has pretty much taken to living at his house. I know that he's safe so far, but what happens if he goes back to our world and remembers that stuff? It could be really dangerous.

Oh...from what Neku said, it was really, really vague. You remember the memories of here more clearly when you come back. Do you think remembering this stuff would really be bad for him?

If Voldemort finds out about it, then definitely. But... from what I've seen of that side, Voldemort doesn't know, or nothing happened. I think that if he can keep it secret, it can be something good for him. A little bit of hope in that madness.

... That sounds really silly, doesn't it?

Not any sillier than some of the other things I've heard in this place. If he's good at keeping secrets, then more power to him. And I'm sure he feels better knowing you're worried?

I suppose there are all sorts that get brought here. [Maybe there is someone out there with a worse life than his!] It's not so much a matter of keeping secrets - I don't think there's anyone he knows back home that he would tell about this - but the bloke he's stuck working under can read minds. There's a way to block it and he knows how, but that guy is one of the best mind-readers there is.

Believe me, there are. [Well, when you and your boyfriend died and played a game, you're living in your best friend's body, and two of your other closest friends are God and Jesus? Yeah, there might be somebody worse than Harry Potter.] That's kind of a scary thought. He knows that the guy can read his mind, right?

You've probably met a lot of them, haven't you? [Well there's something to be said about being raised like a pig for slaughter to become the wizardjesus all on a gamble by some old dude who you thought loved you like a parent/mentor thing.] He's well aware of it. I just dunno how good at blocking he is.

Must be fascinating. I don't think asking would help. It's Voldemort I'd have to find out about.

Fascinating's one word for it. I'm going to guess you can't really ask Voldemort. What can you do then?

Not really, no. He'd kill me on sight, or make me watch him die first, then kill me. There's not much I can do. I don't even know if there's enough to worry about.

Death's kind of a tricky thing. It's best not to dwell on it when you're here.

Yeah, I'd rather just enjoy being alive. I don't want anyone else to die.

All I can say is treasure the little things? Sure there have been some bad and scary things, but things are mostly okay here.

Even with the kidnappings and all that, Luceti's an alright place?

I don't mind it, really. The kidnappings seem to die down during parts of the year, at least.

Some parts of the summer and fall. If anything, more people show up. It's kind of strange. Why?

It's just interesting, is all. I didn't realize there was a pattern.

I'm sure they'll change their pattern now just to prove me wrong. I've just noticed things after being here a while.
