[Currently, Shiki is sitting in her bedroom at House 10 with Mr. Mew. She's got her cell phone in her hand, and even though she doesn't have reception in Luceti she's got a battery. It makes her cringe and it makes her want to throw the phone out the window, but she's currently watching a video she recorded of two people she knows in a rather...compromising position.

What? It's not every day you get to watch your boyfriend make out with another girly boy. Besides, in light of recent events, Shiki's not really feeling up to going out to the shop anyway.]

...what makes us attracted to things that are bad for us? You know, like why do we pay money to watch people fight, or why do we continue watching things we know shouldn't be watched? Does that make any sense? Probably not.

And anyway...this weather sucks. It's making me depressed or something, I swear.

I didn't really think about it until someone else mentioned it, but it's official. I've celebrated two birthdays here, it's been two years since I've arrived, and I'm not seeing myself leaving anytime soon. I don't think I regret it though.

I mean, I think I've done a lot of growing up in the last two years. I'm seventeen as of a week ago, I've got my own business that's still thriving...well, as thriving as it can be without actually making money, and I've got some of the best friends I've ever met. I really can't say I regret Luceti.

This place kind of makes us grow for the better, don't you guys think? ...actually, now I'm really curious. Does anybody feel like they've changed for the worse since being stuck here? Give me your thoughts, I'm feeling up for some opinions today.

Also, I've decided I'm preparing early for my annual winter blow-out sale. All winter clothing needs to be out of All Passions by the beginning of March. Come by and pick out a sweater or ten!

[With that, she'll just kick back in her shop at the til with Mr. Mew, the journal open and a pop CD playing from somewhere. Come say hi, come call her out on her optimism, whatever.]

[When Shiki woke up this morning, everything seemed to be going okay. Okay, sure, the village was going temporarily insane, but what else is new? She went about her business, still convinced everything was fine. She had her journal in her hand to address the village, but she paused to check on her hair in the bathroom mirror.

[The doors to All Passions are wide open, and Shiki is bustling about dressing mannequins in Christmas sweaters. She's keeping an eye on the people that the Malnosso have ever-so-kindly dropped into their little village, so feel free to come up and say hi or troll bug her.]

[Shiki's been pretty quiet lately ever since Rosalie disappeared, but she knew she had to keep moving on. Business wasn't going to take care of itself, after all. Lately she's been a bit wary about Neku too, and there's all the stuff with Haruki that's been going on, so a distraction? She'd totally take it.]

So hey. Question! How many of you know how to sew? I think I've got a really good idea going, but I want to make sure. And...yeah, never mind, just that question.

First that earthquake, then the monsters, and now people are thinking everybody they ever knew are crazy. If it's not one thing, it's another. I just don't get it anymore.

Oh well. I guess there's nothing I can do about it now.

[For once, Shiki's not inside sewing, but she is at All Passions. But, for anybody who turns up? Well...they're in for a bit of a surprise. Pink hair. You know, and the revealing clothes are back.]

[ooc: in the world of AU-land, Shiki grew up with Eri's life, and her part in the Reaper's Game was a total accident. Not an "accident", but seriously a freak accident.]

[Despite the fact that the weather's been kind of wet lately, Shiki's at her shop with the door wide open and lots of tables on her covered porch. On-said tables there are piles and piles of spring and summer clothes. Shiki herself is busy creating new things, but she has the journal open next to her. This may or not be a result of Joshua, for all we know it could just be Shiki being crazy.]

[Shiki's currently busy moving things around in her shop, rearranging new displays on either side of the door. These displays? Well, they're hats, specifically ones that Molly made before she left and Shiki herself is wearing a new hat instead of her usual one.]

...I always knew that girl was smarter than most. Hope she made it back okay.

Just as a heads up? All Passions now has a whole new line of hats for the summer. Think of this as a PSA.

[She's going to continue derping around for a bit before she'll turn around the sign to read "closed" and get ready to go home. [Considering that the weather's fairly decent today, Shiki's decided today is a good day to spend outside. For anybody who's known her long enough, they might recognize the crate that she's sitting on as the one she used to use before the porch around the shop was built. Today, she's facing the shop and just looking it over, sketching out some things on a piece of paper. Soon enough though, she starts writing a message to the community]

I think I know the obvious answer, but where would be the best place to get fresh flowers when I'm ready for them? And, you know, planters and dirt and stuff.

Also, the spring line's just about finished if anybody needs something for the new season.

How could he possibly not understand what the problem is? When you start liking another girl, following her around, and ignoring your girlfriend, of course there's going to be a problem! Ugh, what the heck does he even see in her, she's annoying and so...stupid. I don't care if she's Haruki's secretary, she needs to stop. Now.

...you know for once, ranting didn't make me feel better. At all. Wonder if the fountain has any more of that juice left.
