Forty-Third Spool of Thread - [Voice/Action]

[There's the sudden sound of a bunch of boxes falling to the ground, contents spilling everywhere as the journal's camera points up to the ceiling. It shifts suddenly to focus on a particular pink-haired girl who was unceremoniously dumped into the back room of her shop on top of said boxes.]

Ugh...thanks for the warning, jerks. [She begins to untangle herself from the boxes of ribbons and fabrics, moving the journal closer to speak. For the most part, she seems pretty unharmed.]

Hey...so what day is it anyway? Here's hoping I wasn't gone too long, totally bad for business. [There's a slight beat, suddenly remembering something. You know, her housemate that was alone for like a week.] Haruhi, report. [She works her way out from under the pile of materials and the door to the back room swings open, allowing her to enter the main part of the shop.]

Neku...you better have made it back. That was pretty low of them, keeping us sort of together and then sending you back first. Besides, I was right in the middle of designing a n--

[There's a long pause suddenly as she really takes a look at the shop. She's staring at a row of dresser dummies, counting them in her head.]

All right, which one of you broke into my shop when I was gone?!

...[She'll actually listen this time.] Let's just...come here. [She wanders across the room to her bed, curling up and scooting over to give Neku some room.]

[Now that he'll gladly do. He follows her into bed and climbs in next to her, scooting as close as he can get.]

[She's still pretty worried about him, but she's rather not have a Neku biting her head off so she'll settle for just pulling him closer.] We'll deal with it later, okay?

Okay. [Good because right now he'd rather just be like this with her, rather than her seeing under his shirt and getting upset or anything.

He's so glad to have her here right now you have no idea. He really missed her. He presses his forehead against hers and just watches her.]

[Basically this. She doesn't mind the watching so much, considering she understands that he was alone for a long time. She just lets her hands rest on him and shifts her eyes to look up, grinning slightly.] What is it?

...nothing. [He looks down, taking one of her hands into his own again.]

[She uses the other free hand to tilt his chin up to make him look up again.] Sure about that?

[He looks at her for a few seconds before tilting his head in more to kiss her.]

[Well that works. She was going to do the same if he didn't get to it first. Neku-kisses are awesome, the end.]

[It's been a while. :( And his kissing might reflect that with a little bit of neediness to it.]

[Be as needy as you want, she'll more than likely be matching it anyway. It has been a while, but they're both here and both safe. That's all she cares about right now. And continuing the kiss, of course.]

[Yes, he's glad she's okay and it doesn't look like they did anything to her. He'd be more pissed off at them for kidnapping her, but at the same time being able to talk to her there kept him sane. And all this just showed him how much she really means to him.

He lets go over her hand, only to wrap his arm around her instead, trying to deepen the kiss.]

[They didn't do much to her other than prod her a few times, but beyond that? Nada. She's just glad she was able to keep an eye on Neku for as long as she could. She's going to continue snuggling up to him, allowing that kiss to go further and sliding her hands over his chest.]

[He is pleased by this. Just keep kissing him and paying attention to him, okay? Though if she slides her hands down more she'll probably notice he's a little more on the scrawny side than usual.]

[Unknown to Neku, Shiki sometimes does a "did Neku get any fatter" test. Her hands move but she's not going to say anything about it just yet, pretty much just absorbed in keeping him relaxed. It's usually better that way.]

[HOW RUDE. Fff, Neku will probably stay scrawny until he's a lot older. And, well, as long as she's not stopping him then he'll just keep on going. His own hand might be wandering a bit though, seeing as he's moving it up her side. He's even missed touching her.]

[Poor kid. Though very likely. She's not going to stop at all, no worries. She's vaguely aware of what Neku's hand is doing, but she's not stopping that either. Carry on.]

[His hand moves around to her back where he runs his fingertips down her spine and then back up, stopping at the space in between her wings. He's mostly pausing to see if she wants him to stop or anything, otherwise he'll keep going.]

[She shudders a bit at the movement, inhaling deeply and breaking the kiss just enough to speak.] Feeling up for anything?

...are you? [Because you are the one who just got back.]

Maybe. I just want to be with you for a while...that counts, right?

[If that's what she wants then that's what she gets, not that he has any objections. Neku pulls her close, just holding her against him. There's a strong desire to be more intimate with her, but this is good too. He nuzzles and kisses her forehead.]

[Oh, she could go for being more intimate since they're alone, but she's mostly worried about hurting him or him straining himself somehow. She'll just cuddle closer and kiss at his neck.] ...I really missed you, you know.
