Forty-Third Spool of Thread - [Voice/Action]

[There's the sudden sound of a bunch of boxes falling to the ground, contents spilling everywhere as the journal's camera points up to the ceiling. It shifts suddenly to focus on a particular pink-haired girl who was unceremoniously dumped into the back room of her shop on top of said boxes.]

Ugh...thanks for the warning, jerks. [She begins to untangle herself from the boxes of ribbons and fabrics, moving the journal closer to speak. For the most part, she seems pretty unharmed.]

Hey...so what day is it anyway? Here's hoping I wasn't gone too long, totally bad for business. [There's a slight beat, suddenly remembering something. You know, her housemate that was alone for like a week.] Haruhi, report. [She works her way out from under the pile of materials and the door to the back room swings open, allowing her to enter the main part of the shop.]

Neku...you better have made it back. That was pretty low of them, keeping us sort of together and then sending you back first. Besides, I was right in the middle of designing a n--

[There's a long pause suddenly as she really takes a look at the shop. She's staring at a row of dresser dummies, counting them in her head.]

All right, which one of you broke into my shop when I was gone?!

[On the bright side, she can never be mad at Buffy. She sounds fairly relieved though when she hears the other girl's voice.]

Yeah, I'm okay. It's weird, Buffy, it's like they didn't even really want to do anything to me this time. How's everything here?

Exactly! And not only did they break in they stole some of my stuff, too! Not that I can think of why they'd want to steal what was stolen, but come on.

It's almost June.

[Kidnappings! Always such a pain. Now, how long ago was it since he last saw her...?]

[A sigh. Greeeat.]

Not as long as I thought, at least. About a week and a half...but you know how it is, Sokka. It always just seems a lot longer.

I usually don't remember it, personally. [It's kind of weird talking so casually about kidnapping, but it's easier to just treat it like an odd thing, like some weird weather, then something horrible and invasive.] Only that one time when we were warned about it first. And I was only in there for a day.

[voice]

Shiki...!

[Now that's a voice he's very glad to hear right now. As soon as he notices she's at the shop he's out the door and headed that way. He's a lot better than he was the other day when he got sent back, but all he can mange right now is a slow jog over there. He brought his journal along with him so he can talk to her before he gets there, since it's going to take a few minutes.]

Stay there, I'm on my way.

Neku! [Oh good. Good, he's okay, that's one less thing to freak out about. There's another sound that appears to be a box of buttons being knocked to the floor as she moves over to the door of the shop.]

Tell me you're okay at least. That's all I want to know right now.

Tell me about it. They could have at least done it when I was here, but no. Had to be while I was gone for a week. Jerks.

It's kind of weird though...theft usually isn't common around here.

I've never heard of people stealing before the last few days. There was a pirate calling himself "Admiral" stealing from people on the bridge a couple days ago. Maybe he did it? That'd be weird, though. He said he didn't steal from "pretty girls".

[That is a lot of noise coming from that shop. That much noise is something that he would avoid on a normal basis, because it's generally better to not get involved.

Still, a ruckus like that could easily be Bad Things Happening, so he'll just be peeking in Shiki's store briefly to make sure there's no murdering going on right this second.]

[EVERYTHING IS FINE HISOKA...save for the fact that there are boxes and ribbons and bows and buttons all over the place, and a Shiki still fighting to get unburied. She sort of forgot the state of her shop when she was kidnapped, and she hasn't exactly turned on the lights yet. However, she hears the door open and she turns her head.]

...hello?

[Action] IT'S COOL I FOUND THIS LIKE HOURS AGO. AND THEN WROTE VERY SLOWLY.

[there's no reply through the book here, but before too long someone drifts over to the door of All Passions.]

[Shiki's still busy trying to tidy up her shop that is kind of a major wreck. It's mostly her own fault for knocking boxes over and stuff, but still. It doesn't take long before she hears footsteps and she looks up, breaking into a smile.]

Hey there. [Big bro, you always have wonderful timing.]

[he wanders in and picks up the heaviest-looking of the boxes.]

[So it has been a long generally great day and great date with Winry. The promised super-date was almost as good as she had envisioned it. There was a hiccup here and there, but after lunch on the beach and then a dip in the hot springs and just some walking around besides, Haruhi is quite content with how things played out.

Which is probably why, in the early evening (being under the foolish impressed the house was still to herself) Winry and her are on the couch in the living room, enjoying their evening time. Namely, making out. There's some deeper kissing going on here with them pressed up into each other and Haruhi enjoying the feeling of squishing her girlfriend's boobs. Both have their tops off (bras still on, of course, they aren't that deep into it!) and next to the couch, but well- a nice end to a nice day. Haruhi's actually considering if she's "ready" or not to tell Winry...]
