Um...guys? Just a heads-up that All Passions will be temporarily closed for a little while. I'll still take orders and make things, but I won't physically be at the shop for a long time, not until I can be mobile again anyway. Sorry for that.

Buffy, looks like we're going to have to postpone the lake-date for a while, but how about you drop by House #10 for dinner sometime this week to make up for it?

...actually I think it might be okay if anybody who needed something made or just wanted to talk to me can drop by House #10 during the day, so there's that too. Such an inconvenience, sorry again.

How about the fact that I'm not Kyonko maybe and he's not Neku? Cute friendly talented aside, there are just some things that don't work and I'm pretty sure that'd be one of them. Besides, I don't think he'd even know what to really do anyway.

[And then to break OR MAKE the awkward, Haruki finally comes out. He didn't do much to his hair, sadly, but he is in a ridiculous outfit now. It's an outfit he had Kanji make for him before Kanji vanished, so now he's in an outfit not entirely unlike The guy with the black hair's (http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z61/Whyvillex3/Kuroshitsuji/kuro03.jpg) here, but Haruki's also includes little devil-wings and a tail. But he's even got the creepy white gloves]

[first she looks at Haruki with wide eyes because what the HELL? Then she looks at Buffy with a look that clearly says "Still think there's mixed feelings?" Otherwise she'll just shake her head] What should we make for dinner?

[Well, that is certainly an interesting outfit. And Buffy? Right about now would be a good time to shovel your jaw off the floor and do one of those mildly uncomfortable smiles you're so good at.]

...Last time I checked, it wasn't October thirty-first. Did I miss a whole bunch of months? Because that has got to be some kind of costume. Right?

...What's the the thirty-first? [...Pause, consider... he puts a glove on his chin and taps it a few times before...] Oh right, that Halloween thing. No, it's still July here.

[And then with a rather nice arm gesture there, which makes the tail wag a bit, he smiles a slightly unsettling smile he's trying to get into "character" and points at the table]

Well I got some pancake mix ready earlier today, so all I really need to do is heat'em up on the stove and such. Eggs too if you want them.

[And then out of his ice-box he pulls out... a bowl of homemade pancake mix]

...that sounds fine. [looks over at Buffy then] Haruki usually does all of the cooking, Rena and I just sort of help. But I think Rena's out right now so looks like it's just you and me.

Eggs'll be delish. It's not often I get much in the way of home-cooked stuff. I couldn't cook to save my life and Angel? Well...he's not much of a foodie.

Right, good! [...And he puts an apron on over this and gets to work making some pancakes and eggs. But then something hits him]

Oi, Buffy. Want some ham or something? [You're American, you must like ham, right?]

...[just going to roll her eyes and lean against the couch, letting Buffy answer for herself]

S-sure. I could go for some ham. Why not? [She looks at Shiki with a shrug, raising her eyebrows as if to say--Okay, okay. I get your point now.]

[Lalala, pancakes, ham, and eggs. Still, he's doing it with that winged custome. Speaking of which his real wings are pressed to his back under the suit, so it feels awkward, but the result is well worth it. He's content to do this is silence-ish, but come on you two can talk]

[ignoring Haruki for now then, shrugging at Buffy] Does Angel mind that you're here?

Angel? No. He's more into being by himself right now, I think. And even if he wasn't the prince of brood, we spent a long time apart before now. The awful truth is that apart feels more natural than together.

[She peers back over her shoulder, and speaks a little more loudly this time--intent on Haruki hearing her.] Are you sure he doesn't need a hand or anything in there?

[GRUNT. He's flipping the pancakes now, with some class. Namely, by flapping it with the whole pan. It's really badass and such. No, I do not need help...]

That's a little depressing to think about. But at least that gives you more time to meet people around here, so it's sort of a good and bad thing? Who knows.

And...I doubt it. I don't really know what we could do to help.

Well, getting around to meet people hasn't been too tough. Considering Angel's particular distaste for sunlight, I get to be Miss Social Butterfly during the day.

And...if you say so? I'd just hate to be the lump-on-a-log guest, doing nothing to help.
